Orange County United Way, in partnership with America’s Promise Alliance, hosted a Dropout Prevention Summit on Feb. 19, 2009 at Tiger Woods Learning Center in Anaheim from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event convened key stakeholders who addressed the problem of school dropouts and developed a localized action plan for the cities of Santa Ana and Anaheim to increase graduation rates and ensure that Orange County’s youth are better prepared for college, work and life.
